Clean Web Clipper
Who makes Clean Web Clipper
Clean Web Clipper is made by lessroutinemorelife.com, a family of small tools for chores a computer should have been doing all along. The idea fits in one line: save a web page as Markdown you do not have to clean up.
Why it exists
Clippers are rarely criticised for failing to convert HTML. People complain that they stop working, demand an account, or leave the note full of menus. Clean Web Clipper is built against those three: it runs without an account, it answers “no article” rather than saving a menu, and its extraction core is covered by checks, most of them written after a real lost clip.
How it was tested
On 512 pages from the most-visited sites, 109 of them head-to-head against three other engines named with their versions. The numbers, the dates and where it is behind are on the benchmark page.
